Ask to see work on a car like yours. Finishes behave differently by colour and age; recent photos of similar cars tell you more than a gallery of highlights.

Ask what products they use and why. A good installer explains the choice in plain terms.

Ask about warranty in writing. If a coating or film carries a warranty, ask who stands behind it, the installer or the manufacturer, and what voids it.

Ask how long they need the car. Proper correction and curing take time; a quote that sounds too fast deserves a question.

Ask about aftercare. You should leave with simple washing instructions.
